Athy
| Description: | On starting this web site, we decided to display items that would be of interest to people from Athy. Some candlesticks and lamps are made from 'Pitch Pine' timber, salvaged from Athy Court House during renovations over the last 18 months. The timber is from the benches and seats located in the main hall of the courthouse. Each Candlestick is inscribed underneath with details and a signature. The history of the courthouse is given on a separate card. |
